Norman "Norm" Webster was a real estate salesman. He was living nearby the New Jersey home of Vision and the Scarlet Witch. He started an affair with Crystal.
Crystal was at the time unhappily married to Quicksilver, brother to the Scarlet Witch. Pietro had proved to be both neglectful and easily enraged husband. Crystal was felt feeling lonely and Norm was quick to take advantage. When Quicksilver found out, Webster gained a vengeful enemy.
