Who Is Norman Osborn's Secret Weapon In Siege?

Remember when we saw the Cabal meet? There was question as to why they would all listen/follow Norman Osborn's orders. He reminded them of his little friend waiting outside. All we got was a glimpse of a shadow.

The speculation has been that he(?) will have the initials "MM." One of the top runners was Molecule Man (who we just saw in Dark Avengers #10). Another name that I've heard thrown around is Miracle Man ( also known as Marvelman, who Marvel recently acquired).

There's also the image to the left that Marvel has posted.

I am so tired of all this stuff. Even DC's ARCs are going on to long. BLackest Night is just going on and on..The superman stuff is getting old. Cap America is just turing dull. The Dark Reign is just bad.

Wanda would be great, he tracked her down and convinced her to join his side. Though X-Man is coming back in Dark X-Men though I don't think he'd be able to keep people like Loki and Doom in line.

Yeah, Wanda was mentally ill after M-Day, so Norman could have easily convinced her to join.

I can't see Thanos being the guy, a little cosmic for this. Mephisto doesn't like being controlled so who knows. It'll be interesting.

When you say Miracle Man are you talking about the Mike Moran character?... Because that would pretty intense to see. I heard that Mark Millar was going to tackle a Miracle Man series with McNiven as his follow-up to "Old Man Logan." If that's the case this would be a nice lead-in.

I hope it's Wanda or Mephisto.I can't make out that one guy and everyone else is just going to f#ck the event up.I hope it's someone not shown in that pic.Maybe Sentry.Maybe it's time to bring back the Sentry from WWH.

Sentry is kinda like the freak on a leash while Venom is Norman's bodyguard/attack hound, but think about the last issue of Dark Avengers when Osborn cowarded as Molecule Man talked & taunted him maybe Molecule Man is toying with Norman Osborn because he tried to doublecross him plus he was at the throne seat.

jesus christ if its miracleman this mess will be off the chain. miracle man was no joke at all in the old runs.

and WTH is odin doing there? i kinda hope its odin so i can see the man again..aint the same without him for the thor comic.

Wait i just re-read they will have the initials"MM" lmao...this story arc is going to be hilarious and excitin at the same time. boy norman sure is going to get a heavy one backfired on him at the end of it all when the heroes are all standin over lookin at him funny. spidermn will surely have the a laugh.

You cant compare Dark Reign's "Business as usual... but not" approach to Blackest Night's "Teen-Girl-Zombie-Drama Apocalypse". Well, i guess maybe you can if you're just comparing the length of the event.

It could actually be molecule man but if its marvelman like i said the avengers will have their hands full. i mean all hands FULL! I get the feeling that odin will come back though. not as a villain tho lol

@Niko: I also agree that this is who it is going to be.

That's obviously a jacket and not a cape that the flying person is wearing so it really only leaves X-man as a possibility and I disagree with those who would say he isn't powerful enough to keep the cabal in line.

It's not X-man...X-Man is coming back in Dark X-men...If he were Osborn's secret weapon then why would he be fighting one of Osborn's teams

True there is no reason he should be there, but an argonite-immune Hyperion would be a significant threat. If the rumors of MM initials are true it would have to be a powerhouse okay with controlling the planet. The teaser does look like an incarnation of X-Man but comic covers have deceived before.

Marvel Man I think, they're looking for a way to bring him into current 616 continuity so this would obviously be the best way to do it.

After reading Troy's blog a while back, I hope it's Mephisto, it makes sense to me.

I don't see how it could be Marvelman. From what I've read he's not strong enough to keep Doom, and Loki in check.

i would be most unhappy if the weapon was xman or wanda since neither are properly bad people and having them as ultimate weapon would seem kind of lame i want someone bad ass

I thought it was the Sentry at first (Because let's face it, he could kill EVERYONE if he wanted (Earth-bound characters at least... against guys like Galactus and Thanos, dunno.)) but apparently I was misled.... seems interesting....
