yeah I think the same, Nightwing's death would affect the entire hero community

Batman Family, Teen Titans, Outsiders, JLA, Birds of Prey any other?

"Deaths are meaningless." But you couldn't not care about this.

well obviously some like Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman

But well we have to remember he is one of the founding and more known characters in DC (the last part is refered to Robin)

the funny thing is that if you say

"DC killed the original robin" everyone, even if they didn't read comics will want to know how.

But if you say

"DC killed Nightwing" only a part of comic readers will care

at least my opinion

actually the series was written in a way for NW to die, if you read from the beginning you'll understand why"
