And as he embraces his destiny, Haley's Circus, the big top where Dick once performed, returns to Gotham City – bringing with it murder, mystery and superhuman evil. Nightwing must confront his past, among former friends and enemies from his circus days, while uncovering a much greater evil!

    The Circus Is In Town 0

    The Story: Dick Grayson returns as Nightwing. He visits Haly's Circus which was in town. Later he is attacked by a new villain named Saiko. My Thoughts:Initially I hadn't planned on picking up Nightwing when DC announced it as one if their new 52 series. I didn't much like the color change of his costume, preferring the blue over the red. When I rethought everything through, I told myself I was crazy to pass on this series.     Mixed feelings I had when I found out Dick Grayson was going back to Nightwing.  I was happy he got the promotion and I felt the Batman Mythos was stronger if it was defined by just one man.  I still believe the Mythos of the Bat as an urban legend would be stronger with at least two Batmen running around, but it is hard to hate how we are reminded by Kyle Higgins' writing how comfortable Dick Grayson is in his own persona as Nightwing.  My favorite issues of the 52 were character pieces, the on...

    Synopsis: Dick Grayson returns to being Nightwing.What's Good?Dick is better recognized as Nightwing, I won't argue that fact. Still, his run as Batman, especially in Detective Comics by Scott Synder, were some of my favorite adventures featuring Dick in a long time. Now back as Nightwing, Dick makes a statement I agree with: That being Batman did help his character.
