    The Adventures of Tritewing 2

...Really?No ... Seriously... They took away Haley's (they spelt it wrong too...) Circus just so they could give it back. They introduce a red head love interest to Nightwing and a rich guy who looks like Dick to Batgirl, but they can't be together why? They introduced a character just so they could kill him, a villain just so they could kill him, and they do it in a story that is already making no sense with the whole "Dick Grayson is an evil killer" thing...The story line is just plain stupid ...

    With More Bang! 0

With Haley's circus in town again, old secrets are finally revealed! Dick Grayson is considered Gotham's greatest killer, but how much of this is true. Can Nightwing stop this mystery before its too late, or does he not want to stop it. If you want some good old fashioned 'Nightwing' action, this is where you are going to get it.The GoodDick Grayson is near one of my most favorite of the Bat-Family. Having been the first Robin, its something about him that makes him more special than the others....

How Come All Old Men Sound Like Ed Asner To Me? 1

The Good: I don't like the art style of the cover that much, but I'm amazed that its the same artist as the interior artist. The variation in style is impressive. FIght scenes are pretty awesome. There's some well written romantic tension in here, that leads into a properly sensual scene that isn't really shown. It starts to get heavy as the fade out begins. Subtlety is key. The panel layouts are great. Not AMAZING, but close to top tier. There's a great sense of the balance of Nightwing's life s...

    Just One Bad Thing 3

And that one bad thing is that this plot seems a LITTLE too similar to what's going on in Batman #2. Other than that it was a great issue . We get to see more about Dick's relationship to the circus and get some great actions scenes. I didn't think I'd find myself liking Nightwing so much, but Higgins is doing a great job. He leaves us with a cliffhanger that could really change our understanding of his parents' death. Also, Dick gets some (just like his mentor this month) but in a non-sleazy wa...

The Story: Nightwing fights Saiko and later talks with Mr. Haly who is dying of a tumor. My Thoughts:Kyle Higgins picks up right where he left off in the first issue. The fight between Nightwing and Saiko ends fairly quick as Nightwing is forced to help civilians in distress allowing Saiko to escape. This is when things start to get interesting. I believe I said it in my last review but bringing Haly's Circus into the mix was a nice way to kick off this series. We get more of the circus in this ...

This is a video review on Nightwing issue 2. This issue is about Nightwing going back to his past with the circus when the previous owner gives Dick the papers to own the circus because the previous owner is dieing. ...

We're sitting on your plane, Dick... 0

This was one of the few comics that made me exclaim ''Whoa''. I have to say that it's one of the best comics I've read in months and I don't say that lightly, its brilliant and a great example of taking a familiar character and putting him into not so familiar territory. The entire twist with Mr. Haly needing to meet Dick and wanting to hand over the Circus to him was completely unexpected and powerful as hell. Suddenly Dick is given a big responsibilty and with that comes finding out things tha...

Nightwing the way he is meant to be 0

The Good- The art is once again a delight to look at, in fact it's so detailed I had to read the issue twice. Also the fact that they have taken the usually one dimensional Mr. Haly and made him into someone really interesting with his knowledge of Grayson's life. Also since the death of Blockbuster in Dick's previous solo series he has liked a truly menacing arch enemy, Saiko could prove to be just that for Grayson. The Bad- They however did retconed away the fact that Dick had previously owned...

    Nightwing's Back!! 0

Nightwing was one of the very first titles I read when I started reading comics and reading this and last month's issue reminds me of why i fell in love with the character in the first place. He's not with Batman anymore, he's calling his own shots, he's facing his own problems, he's cracking jokes when he needs to and at the same being serious when it calls for it. Higgins is doing a phenomenal job of bringing back the Nightwing I loved and at the same moving him in a direction that really work...

    Nightwing's Insulated 0

Nightwing #1 reintroduced us to Nightwing after Dick Grayson was Batman for a while. Now, think settle in even a bit more.  THE GOOD: I really still like art. It could grow to be one of my favorite artist their is. There is just something about Eddy Barrows work that make me really like it. The story is what gets better here. I really like seeing Raya come into the story because I really want Nightwing to have characters in his life that aren't Bat related. I really like seeing him talk to his c...

    The Past is Back!!! 0

As Dick Grayson returns back to his Nightwing identity he faces new things in this issue. I'm glad dick is back to Nightwing and we also get to Haly's circus and find someone who is trying to kill Dick. The art is really incredible and story is getting intersting. We also get to meet Mr.Haly and see has something for Dick and tells him something he didn't expect. Overall, I'm giving it a 4/5 because the story is getting more intersting, the art is incredible and seeing Dick back as Nightwing. Fa...

Dick Grayson, Ultimate Prodigal Son 0

The Good: I like Eddy Barrows' art, his panel structure is pretty unique as well. Kyle Higgins makes Nightwing a boss in this new 52. I like the growth and trials dick has to grow through. I hope they explain the red though. What happens in issue two will change Dick's involvement in the circus. I love how Dick is the ultimate Prodigal son.The Bad: Some of the jaws looked swollen, nothing to worry about. some of the panel structures specifically the one with the bat shape, has nothing to do with...

    Have to get there 0

While the first issue spent a fair amount of time looking at the past at how it applies to Dick’s present in this issue it becomes clear that his past will become his present.  First though he must deal with Saiko who is still after him and very intent on killing him.  When he is down he pulls the classic villain technique of attacking bystanders so that he can escape.  Without time seemingly to even catch his breath Raya finds him and says she has to go Atlantic City.  Although this turns out t...
