who says a girl can't hit hard? Shiva can!

    The story:

In the last issue of Nightwing we didn't get to see Lady Shiva often, but this issue is action packed and full of Shiva getting multiple punches on Grayson. It was good fight, and it was displayed very well in the panels. On the other hand, the whole time I was reading I became so confused on why Shiva was attacking Nightwing in the first place. I literally had to read issue number 13 again to see if I missed anything. Everything was then cleared up in the end when we figured out there is reason for Shiva to be in Gotham. Penguin hired her to kill a government official and to attack the s.e.c. building, but still why does Lady Shiva care to fight Nightwing?! She even forgets her main goal to attack the s.e.c. building for a while. When Nightwing saw Sonia Branch Go to the s.e.c. building, Shiva just then remembered her task. What an assassin!

    Art:

Andres Guinaldo has been hitting it out of the park every issue!

overall: It doesn't have the best plot or purpose, but the action is phenomenal!

I have been happy with the work Kyle Higgins has been doing with this series and although Tom DeFalco has done a decent job on this issue and the last I will be happy to see Higgins return next issue.PlotThis issue sees Nightwing continue his fight with the gang of thugs he was facing last issue. Last month, readers got their first glimpse of the new creative team with the new writer Tom DeFalco. DeFalco’s first story brought mixed responses from fans with many feeling that his story meandered without any solid focus, but I rather enjoyed DeFalco’s pacing as he gave due time to all the different aspects of Nightwing’s life. The focus for this month’s issue should be solidly on Lady S...
