    'Nightwing: Year One' Conclusion

Nightwing: Year One was a brilliant telling of Dick Grayson's first time out on his own as Nightwing.  You see Dick's mindset while being by himself for the first time; him going to Superman to get his opinion, talking to Deadman in the circus, Dick goes from thinking about staying in the circus business to donning a new name and costume and going back to being a hero.   The way Dick deals with Jason Todd becoming a member of the Batman family and teaming up with him to take down the villain makes the reader truly respect Dick as a character.
