    NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3 THE DREAM WARRIORS : Okay so this produced one of the only Dokken songs I enjoyed. It also introduced a good idea for the series that was quickly dropped. Making the kids deaths look like suicides in the real world. One of the things it really offered was Freddy before he went over the top. He still was a menacing character at the same time he cracked jokes. It's one of the more exciting movies in the franchise.

      Almost Exceeds the Original 0

      After the dismal A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge, Wes Craven came back as the screenwriter and actors Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon were brought in to reprise their roles from the original film. With that, and some great new talent - including a young Lawrence Fishburne and a young Patricia Arquette, and an even bigger special effects budget, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors almost reaches the level of the original.
