Nightcrawler died some time ago.

He gaved his life up to save Hope.

Nightcrawler had a funeral and people went on.

Did anybody actually reflect back on his death and talk about him.No they don't.His death to his friends was meaningless.He replaced by AOE Nightcrawler.Nobody misses Nightcrawler.He was chosen to be killed off because he was the most expendable.

anyway i disagree. the X-Men were just at a point where moving on was more important than mourning. plus I care about Nightcrawler.

I think the X-Men still cared about Nightcrawler. It's just so many things are happening right now that they can't really focus on mourning for Nightcrawler. I still love Nightcrawler too!

Nightcrawler died during a pretty tense situation. I don't think they really had time to mourn for days. The fact that they even had a funeral for the guy during everything shows just how much they actually cared for him.

Yeah... Nightcrawler's loss meant the loss of the X-Men's moral compass. I don't feel like anything after the fight with Bastion would have played out the way it did had Kurt been around to voice his take on circumstances. He's like the only one who can ever voice a moral concern that people will give a crap about... On that note, poor Hank McCoy.

AOA Nightcrawler was cool for a bit during the 90s but its not the 90s anymore so toss him in the bin with Liefeld pouches and Superman's mullet and either give us the real deal back or let him remain dead with dignity

Characters die and come back all the time...THAT's why no one is upset about Nightcrawler. No one thinks he's gone for good.

Azazel us coming back soon isn't he? I thought I saw something about him being the villain in an arc soon. So it seems like the perfect time for Kurt to return.

i think nightcrawler was replaced by aoa nightcrawler because 616 kurt would never kill and aoa kurt does.....also kurt became a priest and was all happy about it so thats his happy ending

Yeah actually they did reflect on it, they did mourn him, but after the fact. In Uncanny X-Force, they reflected on his death in multiple issues, such as issue #2 and during the Dark Angel Saga for starters. He wasn't expendable either he was as others have so easily pointed out a metaphor for the death of the X-Men's morals, plus he's a popular character so he died for the "shock factor".

Given that Nightcrawler was a devout Catholic(ordained priest to boot) in "real" life, will we see him being considered for beatification/canonization(sainthood) by the Holy See in the future?- the implications of a "super-hero"( and a mutant to boot) becoming a saint are mind boggling(as an X-Man he arguably lived a life of heroic virtue, returning good for evil, and helping to defend humanity that regarded him and all other "muties" with repugnance).
