    Toys of Doom appeared in Eagle from issue 396 (cover dated 21 October 1989). It followed the adventures of Nick Jardine, grandson of the first Toymaker (a story that originally appeared in Buster in 1966), as he discovers his grandfather's toys and uses them for his own evil ends.

    After 26 episodes the story ended with a double-sized episode in Eagle issue 422 (although one-off tales appeared in the Eagle Holiday Special 1990 and Eagle Annual 1991).
