In my eyes I'll never see Sam L. Jackson as Nick Fury, so I want to know who you could see playing him...
Nick Fury
Character » Nick Fury appears in 4273 issues.
Nicholas Joseph Fury served in World War II as the leader of the Howling Commandos. He later became an agent, and eventually director, of S.H.I.E.L.D. Fury is one of the greatest strategic minds in the world, a born leader and a master of espionage. He currently serves as a replacement Watcher.
Who do you think could play him?
I think that Jackson will do a good job, but being the original Nick Fury fanboy that I am I would like to see a white actor acting as him (not an offense to anyone)
How about Al pacino?
"I meant the classic version"
Well they mix both Ultimate and Regular Universe when doing movies so...
"I think that Jackson will do a good job, but being the original Nick Fury that I am I would like to see a white actor acting as him (not an offense to anyone)that's what I was thinking
I think a younger Robert De Niro could've pulled it off, like him in Taxi Driver
but...
nowadays, maybe Josh Duhamel from Transformers

"I'm ok with Samuel L. Jackson."me 2
I can't wait for a new Sam L Jackson quote :P
I've had it with these motherf@cking snakes on this motherf@cking plane!
yes, they deserve to die and I hope they burn in HELL!
Go Sam! :D
Ummm but as the old nick fury well......................... ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Van dame maybe? meh.. I don't know :P
Samuel l Jackson was supposedly the original basis of the character nick fury. so yeah dude who could honelstly say they don't like sam jackson and don't want to see him as nick fury.
Did ultimate fury fight in world war 2 with Cap? I mean, I would love to see a young Fury in the Cap movie
Fury had Cap's age when both of them were in WWII, diference is he did age....
and marvel recently posted this of Cap:
"Gambler said:Yeah but didnt something happen to reverse, slow, or do something to his aging? Magneto was in WW2, but he was reverted back to a child and then aged so they could explain away him being old. Theres no way Fury is actually 80 and looking the way he does."He is?"he was an army Sergeant more than sixty years ago..."
With what he has gone through and his age Fury shouldn't even be able to move..... :P
I recall that when Fury fought (and beat) Cap the second time he mentioned of HYDRA doing something to him just like what they did to Cap, I don't remember what it was but that may explain why and how Fury is in such a good shape
"I feel like crying looking at the picture Nighthunter."then I guess you don't want the rest of the scene?
Now stiuck with me here.....Brad Pitt. He already proved that he can be made up to be old like in The Curiois Case of Benjamin Button lol...they could make him into a good Nick Fury...he has depth, physicallity and I think he could actually pull of the part well....he is a beter actor then some people give him credit for.
Not saying that but I don't see him as Fury, I would be willing to accept the possibilities of Thor and Captain but I just can't picture him as Fury
Aight ....I was just throwing an Idea out there
I cant see him as Cap or Thor because I want someone new and unknown for them kinda.....but IMHO he could have made a good Fury....with the make up to make him older I thought he could really disappear in the role...but itd never happen so doesnt really matter.
"Good!....by the way speaking of Brad Pitt.....he is producing Kick-Ass did you know that?"nope
Yea I am excited to see Kick-Ass transfer to the big screen...sry for being off topic.
Dennis Quaid is a decent character in the right role....its hard to say if he could pull it off in my mind....however let me note that Dennis Quaid is playing Hawk in the G.I. joe movie.
"Samuel l Jackson was supposedly the original basis of the character nick fury. so yeah dude who could honelstly say they don't like sam jackson and don't want to see him as nick fury."O_o
I can't think of a single human being bad-ass enough to play Nick Fury. This includes Samuel L. Jackson.

Jackson was the basis for a white character who made his first appearance in 1963, when Jackson was 15.
