The question still remains who will be the main villain and how many will we have. Sam Raimi has said he understands that too many is a problem. We've heard the rumors that perhaps this will be the movie that will have Lizard as the main bad guy. While Black Cat started out as a sort of villain, she could always walk that fine line between hero and villain.
Until we get official confirmation, take this as you will. My fingers are crossed that we do see Felicia in the movie. Would McAdams do well as Black Cat? I'm not sure. You might recognize her from The Time Traveler's Wife, The Notebook and the upcoming Sherlock Holmes. I think she could maybe pull it off. What are your thoughts? Too good to be true?

This is the speculation I posted a few months ago in my blog , but I had no idea who'd to cast as Black Cat. She looks quite right for the role.
I agree anything to detract away from Kirsten Dunst would be welcome. I hope it becomes true, even though I'm not a big fan of Black Cat.

I love Rachel Mc Adams perhaps she will make Black Cat a bit more dignified and a bit less TI*S and A**E

I'm not actually wanting to see Black Cat in Spider-Man 4, but if they use her this actress looks like she could fit the role.
I think she should also play Mary Jane, Gwen Stacy and Betty Brant. Maybe Aunt May too. It's not too hard to do, ever seen "The Parent Trap"?
Black Cat could be nice. She was actually slated to be in the second movie, but was removed do to concerns over the story. It was in the audio commentary for the second movie. She was actually in the game Spider-man 2 that was based on the movie. Normally, with video games you can get a lot of issues that have to be removed from the film adaptation.
I like Black Cat. The film interpretation of Mary Jane has never really set right with me. She was sort of fusion between the comic Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy. The first film even re-imagined the whole bridge scene. Only that time without any neck snapping.

I think she'd be awesome for the role. Mostly because I think she's freaking hot.
Rachel McAdams is lovely and a really good actress. Not sure if I can see her as Black Cat, but I'd definately want to see.
I would absolutely love this! I think she would be a great fit. Now the lizard as a main villain? I'm not sure he would have quite the depth to hold his own in a movie.
at this point, I would be happy with an hour long movie of spidey just flinging around town, not being gay about mj, and not dancing like a fruit cup at a jazz bar.
i think itd be better if the lizard was secondary like spidermans going after someone else then has to deal with the lizard on top of that and black cat should start as a theif and by the end of the movie shes trying to help spiderman tho i dont know who else hed deal with maybe chamelion or mysterio

this seems like good casting to me, shes been great in everything ive seen her in and she looks the part, minus the giant boobs ha ha.
I personally hope the movie has Kraven and Lizard as the main baddies, but i know Sam raimi has been trying to fit Black Cat into number two and i heard number three aswell, so i can picture her being in this one especially since I heard this might be Raimis last one then someone else will do 5 and 6 which are curently being written.

YES! I fully support this. I love Black Cat, and since Kirsten Dunst doesn't have the hotness to portray MJ than I would like to see Felicia into the mix.
