I'm actually of the opposite opinion on Cosmic Marvel. I started liking it with Annihilation and everything that came out of that. I don't mind all the books since I'd be getting them anyway. I don't like Crystal marrying Ronan, but if that's what it takes for the Inhumans to rule the Kree, I'm good. I think the Inhumans being a major force in space is a different idea that I like, just hope it goes better than WoK #1.
Aw come on War of the Kings is going to be awesome! The title of this book should be called wedding crashers because that's just what they did, they crashed the hell out that wedding.
My favorite part was when the new Smasher gets his neck snapped and Gladiator goes "I realize I will be force to find another recruit to fill the Smasher uniform." I hope it becomes a running gag and the new one die's in each book "OMG they killed Smasher, you bastards!"
I'm glad the Inhuman keep losing this in turn forces Black Bolt to become more ruthless, I'm just waiting for Maximus to turn to Black Bolt and say, "Damn bro that was even too cold for me."

Black Bolt getting more serious could be what it's building towards. His first move was to take over an entire race/civilization so maybe his next step up will be taking down the shi'ar and he just needs motivation to do it. I'd like to see him pull out more cool inventions that Maximus has come up with.
You'd think getting his @$$ kicked by the Skrulls would put him more on
edge. When the attack started, he was useless. About the wedding, as
mentioned, it was crashed. I don't think it was finalized. I'm hoping
the rest of this series can keep up this momentum. For all the
crossovers they're doing these days, they have to do really something
spectacular to make it worth our money.
war of the kings has been kind of slow so far but i'm really hoping that it picks up the pace here soon

Checklists are SO ANNOYING. I completely agree with you. They are more of a hassle to follow than necessary, in my opinion. And thats the biggest check list I have ever seen!
Needless to say it doesn't sound too enticing in my opinion, even if you did give it a 4 out of 5. However, if it came with the vocal immitations of Crystal, I would consider spending the 3 dollars.
BTW: Whats so bad about Ronin?

I loved War of Kings #1. Looks like Black Bolt will start going all out on the Shi'ar now after that attack.

I do like the art .....except for the first page.
I'd also like a self contained story......it's way to confusing to go buy 10 different books.
