Ultimate Wolverine Is Dead So Who Is Ultimate X?

Looks like we'll be seeing another dude with claws soon...

Ultimatum is over.  It has been for a few months and the Ultimate Universe has been moving forward.  We're still seeing the characters trying to pick up the pieces from all the deaths and destruction.  As you probably know by now, Ultimate Wolverine is dead.  He was wiped out by Magneto.  When I interviewed Jeph Loeb about it last month, he said, "Wolverine is gone. Someone may do something after I'm gone...Wolverine is gone." (He also alluded to this project with the awesome Art Adams).

So who is this dude?  It looks like a blonde tuft of hair is sticking out under his hoodie.  He's obvioulsy high school age (or at least appears to be and is acting the part).  Say what you want about Ultimatum, I'm really enjoying seeing everything that's happening afterwards.  I'm not a fan of deaths for deaths sake but it'll be interesting to see how it's all dealt with.  I also love Art Adams artwork so I will definitely be looking forward to this book.
 
Who do you think this guy is?  Ulitmate Daken?  Someone else?

if thats Ultimate Daken I want the real one out by christmas. This guy looks way more interesting.  Regular Daken looks like hes tried so hard to be a bad@#$ he hurt himself in the process.
 
Jeph Loeb! redeem yourself in my eyes, please. I want for him to produce an awesome book so bad.

it could be anyone...the Banshee drug was based on Wolverine's dna and when Professor X took it he temporarilly gained Wolverine's mutant abilities including his claws

I know people give Loeb a lot of crap for Ultimatum and Ultimates 3, but I'm actually kind of looking forward to Ultimate X. New Ultimates could be cool too, but I'm mostly looking forward to Ultimate X. I'm pretty sure that's probably going to be Wolverine's son or something like that, just because it looks like he has bone claws and I'm pretty sure if you're going to go through all the work to make a clone you might as well give him an adamantium skeleton.

Ohhhh, for the love of all that is mighty. Please, say that isn't Ultimate Daken. 
 
Speaking on solely just the image. That cover is really well done. Just look at the textures in the brick and on the bus.

My first thought was Mimic, but I have not read very many Ultimate universe books and I didn't know if there had already been an Ultimate Mimic.I looked on his page and didn't find it so...maybe Ultimate Mimic

I'd love to know who he is, just so I could file his picture in the correct gallery.  Otherwise, I can't stand the whole concept of the Ultimate universe... Still, I love seeing Art Adams' art any day :)

Some time ago interior art was revealed and a girl could see the dead heroes who died in Ultimatum...

If it is Mimic then he might be able to get the powers of dead heroes....

Ultimate Wolverine is dead? That'll teach me to stop reading Ultimate comics for a year or so.
I thought he was, in a lot of ways, better than mainstream Wolverine, mostly because he was kind of a dick. When people call mainstream Wolvie "an animal" or something, it doesn't really make sense, cause he's been a good guy since he was introduced. Ultimate Wolvie, on the other hand, tried to kill Cyclops so he could get Jean. As a Cyclops hater and Wolverine lover, even I think that's s***ty.
 
Edit: Oh, yeah. The article. My money's on a new character.
