People have been talking a lot about Marvel's Ultimate Universe lately, especially since one of Marvel's biggest Ultimate Universe characters died last Wednesday (do I have to name names? I think we all know who it is).
Today the publishing house revealed a first look at one of their upcoming Ultimates books, Ultimate Comics: Ultimates #1 which will be penned by Jonathan Hickman with art by Esad Ribic. The first issue, due to hit stores on August 24th, will showcase the return of the Marvel Ultimates Universe's biggest villains -- this immediately following the Ultimate Comics Fallout event. Will what's left of the team manage to save the day and avoid demise at the hand of this adversary? The story will follow Iron Man, Hawkeye, Nick Fury and Thor in what looks to be a really gorgeous book.
