Chandra Free gives us a look at the concept art for her upcoming book!

Hey guys!

A lil sneak peak of the design work for the monsters known as the Marcynites from THE GOD MACHINE.

These guys run on all fours, but have the ability to stand up and eat their victims whole. Powerful back legs for speed, but no real upper body strength except for their insatiable jaws of steal and dimensional powers that come up from their guts. Nasty and extremely powerful creatures they are! Even the GODs do not trifle with them if they can…

We’ll learn more about them as time goes on, but this is just a little taste of things to come…

I love seeing design work like that. It looks like a simple design, but still just right. A very creepy monster I wouldn't want to see even in a well lit alley.

This is great the more I see of this the more I like it, I loved you're first post the art work was awesome as was the story epic.

When does this come out. I know next month but is there a specific date yet? Archaia's website says July 2008.

@jloneblackheart: Release date is Oct. 28th.
[Archaia has yet to update their site. It was originally supposed to come out last year, but due to Archaia's restructuring it was pushed back.]
