I've mentioned that I'm a little behind on my Smallville viewing. There's just not enough hours in the day to keep up with it and all the comics that come out each week. I stumbled across this promo for the "Ultimate Justice" episode airing in February. I'll admit that I was a little skeptical at first since it wasn't from The CW's official youtube channel. But this comes from KryptonSite's channel so that gave me some assurance. I went and checked my DVR, fast forwarding through the "Pandora" episode with my eyes half close so I wouldn't completely spoil things. Once the show was at it's end, I let it play to watch the promo. Turns out it was this same exact one. Crazy. Check out who will else will be appearing (although perhaps we'll just have tiny cameos).
It's good to see that we'll at least be getting some nods to the other members. I have to admit I'm a little confused that now we're seeing that superheroes do, or did exist in this little universe that Smallville is in. It shouldn't be such a stretch for Clark to put on a super-suit (other than a black trench coat) if others have already done it.
Do these appearances get you more excited for this double episode? I'm still hoping that the Hawkman image we saw will look better in the episode. Maybe that was just a bad picture with bad lighting? Let's all hope that the others will look cool as well. The only thing that's strange is it still has January as the release date when it was changed to February a couple weeks ago...

I don't watch Smallville but I'll watch the JSA episode. Most likely when its online. It is odd to see other heroes like Green Arrow and now the JSA in full uniform with the traditional code names but Clark wearing a trenchcoat and calling himself the Blur. The JSA Meeting table was awesome though.
@crazywolf: I think he's calling himself the Blur because he really likes "Song 2"
Does anyone else think they've run out of ideas so they're throwing other super heros at us?
I like this, makes the show look more like the comics, and why are people upset with Hawkmans look, I mean I'm not the biggest fan, but I don't think he looks that bad.
@Toastalchemist: That could be. I want to think of it as they're trying to bring Clark closer to actually becoming Superman. Having hims see that others run around in tights might make it less absurd for him to do so if he was the only one. Guess you could call it super-peer pressure.
With the sepia lens, looks to me that's a flashback. Reckon Clark will find the old JSA hideout and it'll be his inspiration to finally join the Justice League, this'll probably all be a cop out with just flashback to the heroes in costume and no real action. GL would probably take up the whole season's effects budget.
@toastalchemist you're probably right but if WB thought on smallville could be it's solution to launching it's other characters onto the big screen. Smallville's due to finish, we all know that, so let's have some fun and introduce as many genuine movie characters as possible. Hopefully, this will get the mainstream public intrigued enough in a character to make it worthwhile for a studio to make a decent movie.

DR. Fate, Alan Scott's power ring, the Sandman, and Hawkman's dumb costume. this season of smallville rocks. I wonder who else were going to see from the JSA (Justice Society of America)?

I tried to defend that Hawkman costume but the more I looked at it the more I began to despise it.I'm glad the other characters translate a bit better and most people are happy but I still want to see Stargirl and I hope she will be in costume because you can't just have the guys in costume that wouldn't be right and right is what the JSA is all about.
