'Sin City 2' News!

  The actress from the first film, Alexis Biedel spoke to MTV news yesterday and gave them a heads up on what the production for 'Sin City 2' looks like.

“Someone told us yesterday that there’s a script,...I don’t know what their source was,” added Alexis, “but they said they read the second script. … Apparently, [I’m] back because it’s a prequel. Because [I’m] supposed to die in the first one. But you don’t see it, so maybe she doesn’t.”

There you have it, folks! 'Sin City 2' looks like it's going to be a prequel to the first film, which is really great news. It looks like the next film will be somewhat of an adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel 'A Dame To Kill For.' What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to the second movie? Did you read Miller's sequel to Sin City, ' A Dame To Kill For'?

'A Dame To Kill for' was my favorite of all the 'Sin City' stories so yea I'm looking forward to this. It will be made by my favorite director after all.

Thats cool, I liked a dame to kill for because it centers around Dwight, and it's nice because we also get Marv back plus a slew of other characters that died in the first movie

I read this awhile ago in a back issue of Wizard Magazine (about the sequel being a prequel). Apparently Dwight will have his original face, pre-Sin City 1. This also means character who died in the original could potentially be used again. Merv for instant lol. It was also reported earlier on that Angelina Jolie would play the lead female role. Haven't heard anymore on that however.

yup i really can't wait for this to come out. The 1st one was awesome i can only hope that this one will be as good or better.

And, I agree. The same team would be a grand idea.

Maybe a reappearance by the recurring Josh Hartnett character?!! That alone would make the entire movie right there, as an intertwining side story, as it was in the first pic. 8O
