Marvel is really excited about the release of their 'Runaways' #11 which comes out today. So excited in fact that they gave them a theme song? I'll admit, my first reaction was 'you've got to be kidding me.' My final reaction was, 'this has to be some kind of joke.' Maybe you guys will like it, I personally...well...I'm not a huge fan of "The Runaways" series, or this song, but you have to hand it to Marvel for being creative and trying some new marketing techniques. Check out the song below, courtesy of MTV , with vocals by Marvel editor Nick Lowe. What do you guys think of it? Do you read the series?

i thought it was happy happy then it just got gloomy about someone who will die -___- well that was short lived
love runaways A TON. great series with an original series. a them song? kinda weird. in fact, pretty lame. haha i think its pretty bad
I love the Runaways! I hate that song. But it seems as though Gert is coming back which is pretty kick ass. I havent kept up on the third series but I may pick it up again.
I'll admit I wasn't sure about Runaways m'self, but I gave it a try reading the first digest collection; and, while I haven't like what has happened to the team, the stories and art have been pretty decent. Fresh and different. The theme song is pretty cool. This is just to promote Runaways #11? Wow. Be interesting to see a Runaways movie. Since Twilight is all the rage...

"Video can not be viewed outside the US for copyright reasons". I saw through an atrocious Klondike Bar advert for that... and just what is a Klondike Bar?? It's good enough to sell us the comics, but not the theme tunes?? :(

First off... let me say that I love the Runaways series. I think it is one of the best and most creative ideas ever made by marvel. When Mr. Humberto was doing the art I couldn't help but love it even more.
I just finished listening to the song however.... And I feel like I want to throw up. That song was absolutely hideous!!! =(
(PS: Don't hate on season 1 of Pokemon's theme song. That theme song was badass.)
