We could've sat and talked all day but I'm not sure if people would want to see a full day at the office.

I knew a guy in high school that did his hair up every day to look like wolverine's.  He claimed that it was just hid bed head, but his girlfriend said he'd get up at 4AM every day to make sure every hair was properly in place before class started.

As far as realism in hair in comics goes... I think it's one of the few places where people can really defy gravity and such (things like the mask/hat hair), and it gives the impression that the characters are 'cooler' for having the funky hair that doesn't get flattened.  Or at least... that's something my friends and myself have decided on...

I dont know if this is actual fact, but I remember hearing someone say Norman Osborn was originally suppose to be a mixed character (half white/half african american). But at the time it was or would have been somewhat controversial. Again, I don't know if this is fact or not. But the style is called, "Waves"

Do you think that the way they drew the hair at the time reflected the styes at the different times. I know You guys said that in the 80's Storm had a mohawk. Wasn't that popular in the 80's? And Rogues Patches of white mvoed over the years and eventually came to rest as two white streaks at the front of her head. Again that could reflect the style of now. I'm thinking to much into this but hey I do that xP

You are absolutely right.  I bet the actress Grace Jones was an influence on Storms looks back in the 80s.  Grace Jones was made popular in Conan.  Not that Storm and Grace Jones had the same hair, but they both had agressive hair at the time.

I love having waves. But I rarely see any character in Comics or Cartoons that have em. Norman Osbournes I thought had semi-waves but the way whites have em.

LMAO I love how seriously you guys are discussing hairstyles in comicbook characters. ^^
mrenbon Dec. 17, 2008 at 12:20 p.m.
Like G-Man,  I'd always wondered about Wolvie's and Beast's hairstyles, why they looked so similar.  Perhaps its a mutant genetic trait? The Osborns and Sandman; yup, I'd always wondered on that one.  I thought Storm with a Mohawk haircut was way cool back in the day.  It's funny, because I've been speculating if Storm ever appears on-screen again (?), it'd be awesome if she sported a Mohawk.  How about Polaris' green hair?  I also think Fire from DC had green hair.  Doc Samson has green hair, and it's long, almost a mullet of sorts. Personally, I am sporting the Prof. X hairstyle.   I only wish I could find a girl with hair like Medusa from the Inhumans; that'd be awesome.  I would love to see videos of the Comicvine office.  Was that Madman on the computer?  Sweet.  Red L.A.M.P.: Get a haircut and get a real job!

Red L.A.M.P. does eat a lot of burritos. Then he seems to disappear for a while afterwards.  Maybe that's a good thing?

I was gonna mention Thor with his manly long golden hair.  He just didn't make it into our conversation.
