We've been hearing about the Planet Hulk animated movie for some time now. February 2010 is getting closer. Marvel has unveiled the DVD box art for the movie. As you can see, Alex Ross provides the artwork.
The story, as you may know, deals with Earth's heroes deciding that Hulk is too dangerous to be on Earth. They exile him to space and eventually he lands on the planet Sakaar. Sakaar is a slave planet ruled by the tyrannical Red King. The Red King soon discovers whether or not Hulk can be kept captive as a gladiator.
A teaser trailer has been out for a little while now. Here it is in case you haven't seen it yet.

hope it does lead to world war hulk, but how many hulk movies are gonna be made? give us another character already
I will buy this! It looks reaally good! Keep the Hulk movies, animated movies, comics, and cartoons comming.
Too many hulks!!! Its not bad. just prefer they would do an animated movie with a different character. Llike spidey, cap, wolverine, x-men or even a deadpool one would be awesome. its not a bad thing that planet hulk is being animated, its just too soon after hulk vs, the hulk movie (2008), red hulk and world war hulk

I'm looking forward to seeing this. I rented Superman/Batman: Public Enemies this past weekend. It was really good. It was one of those stories that seems to be so exciting that it feels like it was over too soon. Though the way Batman survived in the end felt very corny. The way the shape on the pod looked like a bat logo over the Superman S. I loved Batman's lines on top of the Planet building.
I will buy this! It looks reaally good! Keep the Hulk movies, animated movies, comics, and cartoons comming.

It is still a little ways off, but it still looks like a epic Hulk story.
Looks awesome! I hope it leads to more Hulk movies or, hell, even an animated series.
