Unfortunately, no. Jackson has told MTV:
Not this time, not yet. We still haven’t moved Nick Fury into the bad-ass zone. He’s still just kind of a talker.
He did mention that he filmed scenes mostly with Robert Downey Jr. He also filmed some with Scarlett Johansson as well. Here's a video you can hear the words straight from his mouth.
Will we have to wait for The Avengers to see him kick some butt?

Yeah, it's not bad if he doesn't get any action time right now.
This is good news. The guy's a hack and my respect from him (which was pretty low at the time) met a whole new level of "crappyness" when he acted like he did as The Octopus in The Spirit.
Meh, he's nothing special (at least for me). The movie will be good either way.

I actually didn't mind that movie.
Cursed mtv news video! I can never watch them! seeing as how I'm stuck in CANADA!, I didn't mind the Spirit either, and Sam jackson is no HACK!

That and he mentions RDJ and Scarlett.
@G-Man: it's not just Mtv it's a million other sites, that don't work unless you're in the states, I was shocked when I first moved up here, but oh well more than anything I just wanted to use Sam jacksons line " yes they deserved to die, and I HOPE they BURN IN HELL!" from the movie A Time to Kill
I'm glad he's only getting some face time. Becuz this is Iron Man 2 not Nick FRICKIN Fury!!!!
meh, its gotten to the point where all Sam has to do is sit down in a chair take a sip of water and blink, and everyone including me will go OMG THAT WAS SO BAD@$$!!! besides he's signed a 9 movie deal with marvel, having him do to much at the begining would cause people to get pretty damn tired of him pretty fast, especially if he's whoring himself across the marvel movie bandwagon
Meh, not really earth shattering news to find that Samuel won't be playing Nick Fury yet. Oh, and I have seen the Spirit. /shudder
