I know we all want a box set.  We (in the United States at least) still haven't seen the entire first season.  That means a box set isn't coming any time soon.  Some people prefer the single releases as it's less money to plop down at one time.  In July, Marvel Animation and Lionsgate are releasing the second DVD of "Wolverine And The X-Men."  "Deadly Enemies" will feature five action-packed adventures including Wolverine's rematch (from Hulk Vs.) with the Incredible Hulk.

The DVD will also include audio commentary from the show's creators.  The DVD will also come packed with an embossed O-card.  (I'm not really sure what an O-card is).  It will be on sale July 21, 2009 with a suggested retail price of $14.98 (which means you'll probably find it close to ten bucks or less at the retail stores or online).

Here's the official synopsis.
Wolverine and the X-Men continue their fight to prevent an unspeakable future as menacing opponents await in Wolverine and the X-Men: Deadly Enemies. The X-Men fight to save Storm’s life after the parasitic Shadow King infiltrates her mind. And Wolverine teams up with Gambit to ‘steal back’ a technological collar that inhibits mutant powers, before Senator Kelly can use it against them. On the high seas, Nightcrawler battles devious pirates, in the business of kidnapping mutant refugees for their mysterious master, Mojo. In order to protect his friends, Wolverine must face-off against the Incredible Hulk, but he soon discovers there is a new enemy lurking in the darkness. And in a shocking request from Professor Xavier in the future, Wolverine and the X-Men must return a young mutant to the custody of their most relentless adversary, the MRD.

I Think Nightcrawler's episode with the pirates was the last one i watched due to it being so awful. Now seeing as how that ep will be one of the five i'm feeling uneasy. It's more like Vietnam, i'm having flashbacks.

The animation is atrocious. All the characters look horrible. I much rather watch the old 90's X-men show.

I'm digging this show. I probably look forward to this more then Brave and the Bold and Iron Man

Well I have to agree Iron Man sucks, I just feel like the animation we have been getting for comic characters as of late (Besides DC Animated Movies such as Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, New Frontier, etc) have been sub par. I loved Batman the Animated Series and Justice League and Batman Beyond but Brave and the Bold just seems so cheap to me. Perhaps I'm missing something but I long for the classics.

I got 5 minutes into Iron Man before turning it off. New Frontier's animation was great, I never saw WW, and none of us have seen Green Lantern yet.

B&B right now is one of my favorite television shows, so much fun.

i just didn't like the way the characters were portrayed....the whole idea of the Brotherhood and the X-men going to public high school together and Mystique being the principal is just a ridiculous idea

For while I thought this was the continuation of X-men Evolution, it would have been nice if it was.

I thought it was cute and liked it.... I like when companies shake up the franchises.... it takes balls to do things like that

I can't believe their taking some of the blood of Wolverine vs Hulk's rematch on the show.

That's bizarre.  The first 6 episodes & the Hulk Versus Wolverine have been out on one disc over here for a couple of months now.  Very strange...

This show was mediocre at best...On the other hand, Spectacular Spider-Man is very entertaining.

This is just a bizarre case where us in the U.S. are actually getting things after the rest of the world.  Like Spectacular Spider-Man.  Season 2 premieres in the U.S. o June 22.

I'm sorry... And Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends, too.  You guys need a multi-region player in the Comic Vine office, just to watch cartoons all day long...

Haven't seen the show yet... I know its like 10 bucks at target not sure I should invest in it or not..

I'm not sure if anything can compare to the 90's version of the x-men quite honestly
though, X-men evolution was awesome!

This reminds me to buy the complete set of the 90's x-men

I must say, the States are truly far behind. Spectacular Spiderman episodes for season two still haven't aired? Blasphemy.
