We've been hearing about the upcoming SPIDER-MEN series. It's not 100% clear if this is a new series or a miniseries. We've seen a shadowy teaser earlier this month along with the creative team. Today, Marvel is beginning to reveal who is behind those shadows.
Looks like good old Spider-Man to me. No real surprise there. Being more specific, it looks like 616 Spidey. But who is the other one? Many suspect it's Miles Morales. Chances are Ultimate Peter Parker will not be returning from the dead just yet (if ever). If it is Miles, could he somehow be crossing over into the 616 universe? Or could this be Kaine in his Scarlet Spider costume? Because it's Bendis and Pichelli, it seems more like it'd be something in the Ultimate universe. Unless I've somehow completely missed a previous announcement.
