The first day of the
Long Beach Comic Con has come and gone. It was a shaky start in the beginning as Joey got stuck in a long security line at the airport. Luckily for him, our flight was delayed 25 minutes so he made in on board just in time. This meant we missed the opening ceremony MC'd by Tom Pinchuk. Word is, he killed them with his cleverly scripted words.
Joey and I did a quick run through the convention to do a little video we could send back to the Whiskey Media office for the Live Show. We did manage to talk to a few fans as well as creators such as
Amanda Conner,
Dustin Nguyen and
Joshua Williamson.

Once we were ready to begin filming, I finally got the chance to sit down with
Arthur Suydam. Talking about zombies on Halloween weekend was the perfect time to do an interview (yes, I even asked him
why zombies were such poor dressers). I don't want to give too much away about the other interviews we did and ones we have lined up. Be sure to keep checking the site to see what we post. Sora_thekey was running around filming as well and even had a drawing contest against
Peter Nguyen.
After the show, we had our unofficial meet and greet. It was a good turnout as we sat around for a few hours talking about comics and comic book movies. I've had so many good conversations with users from the site as well as some 'off the record' conversations with some creators. It's been a good time all around.
