Here's what we've been waiting for ever since Black Canary went off on Ollie and Hal in the last JLA issue. In July, "Justice League: A Cry For Justice" mini-series comes out written by James Robinson and will have art by Mauro Cascioli. According to DC's blog, this is the "preliminary cover." I have to say, it looks pretty dang sweet.
Thoughts? Do you need a napkin to wipe the drool of anticipation off your face?

I am. The team is Hal, Olllie, Supergirl, Batwoman, Congorilla, Ray Palmer, and the dude in the top left who looks like a blue martian manhunter. I forget his name. Anyway, I hope it's sweet!

Why make a reference to something the reader doesn't know what you are talking about. They should have at least started the "Cry For Justice" so we have an idea whats going on. Or make like a "filler" arc so that they could put this issue out when CFJ does start. I don't think I've seen a book reference to an event the reader can't read yet.

Nice artwork. I like the team roster, especially The Atom. Always thought he should be more proactive. Batwoman is an interesting inclusion. Supergirl--awesome.

the blue guy is starman and this pic has been around a while,it was mentioned even as early as pre xmas.
When the hell does this take place in continuity with Blackest Night and all?
I'm excited for this, but when does it take place in continuity? With all the build up to Blackest Night and then Blackest Night itself, when is this supposed to happen?

Mikaal Tomas being written by James Robinson was awesome enough but Green Arrow and Hal Jordan working to gether again and Batwoman and Captain Marvel and ... Congorilla? um.. well Supergirl in it to. Yay?
