Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart Sign on for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

It looks as though the Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart are reprising their roles as Magneto and Prof X

According to Bryan Singer's twitter page, Singer, the director of X-MEN and X2, who is taking over directing for the X-MEN: FIRST CLASS sequel, has stated that both Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart have signed on for the next X-Men film, and as many fans know, they will probably be reprising their roles as Professor X and Magneto in the upcoming film.

McKellen and Stewart played Magneto and Charles Xavier in X-MEN, X2, and X-MEN: THE LAST STAND. In First Class, the duo was played by Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy. As you may know, the working title of the film has been "Days of Future Past," so if you've read the original story, you know it involves time travel.

Better yet is the fact that Singer announced that James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult have all signed back on with the film as well. Currently, there are no other big casting announcements like whether or not we'll see Hugh Jackman in this film, which would be the nail in the coffin for awesomeness.

Although fans lost the director of First Class, Matthew Vaughn, everything under Bryan Singer, who mind you did direct those first two X-Men films, so far is really coming together, especially with this news because hopefully, fans will get to see some time traveling action, which is always a plus.

What do you think of this news? Who would you like to see in this new film?
