Even though we're almost halfway through November, February 2010 still feels like it's a long time coming. In order to make that wait a little better, Marvel has released a couple images from the upcoming Planet Hulk movie (which will be released on DVD and Blu-ray).
I do wonder how much violence and action we'll get. This movie is practically begging for it. If you've seen Hulk Vs. Wolverine, you know that Marvel is willing to put in its fair share of Hulk-smashing action. But as I've asked before, will this movie lead into World War Hulk? I think it's a safe bet to say that we'd all love to see that. It just might be too massive for a DVD release. I'd be afraid Marvel would have to scale back the story and character appearances due to silly legal issues. Maybe if this movie sells well it could happen.A whole new world of hurt! I love Marvel but DC DTVs trumps these (crappy) Marvel DTVs 10 to 1. Marvel needs to step it up

I really can't wait for this movie Planet Hulk is one of my top 10 favorite stories and this looks like it will stay close to the books.
I loved the book, and im very very excited for this movie. I hope it leads to a WWH movie afterwards, and make that story better. (I enjoyed WWH, but its nothing compared to Planet Hulk.)
Well, remember there was that HULK -vs- Wolverine/Thor movie. That had some pretty decent violence. There was the charred remains of Bruce Banner, or that scene where Wolverine sliced Deadpool's arm. They actually showed him picking up the remaining piece and trying to put it back. I loved that line where he said, "Oh, I hope that's not upside down.". Though that did lack for blood. They had the violence. They just didn't have the gore.
This movie makes me wonder about how far they will take it. Will they treat this as a franchise and make a series of movies? To go into World War Hulk and Son of Hulk. They kind of build up the WWH idea with the opening that explains how the Hulk gets out there. I guess we will just have to wait for the end of this movie to get an idea of where they will go.

Why can't art from Marvel be much more detailed? They have Disney on their backs right now, I'm sure they can help a lot with the animations. Disney's animation is always smooth and detailed. It's not like I'm saying it's horrible but it's time that Marvel step up a notch if they want to go further.

I don't know about this. Im not a fan of smart hulk. I want the angry, not be able to complete sentences Hulk.
With all the DC previous Animation line, I wonder if Marvel could put up a good fight with this. But the screen shot kinda like Fantastic 4 animation (TV series) I think (which makes me wonder if Marvel invest some budget or not on the animation)

been awhile, but when this was first announced i read an interview with the persons helming it
and they said the plan was to do a WWHulk movie, but that would all depend on the sales of this one.
this movie is sort of a trial were marvel is seeing how taking their contained story arcs and translating them to
animation will go over.
