The Wolfman is returning to the big screen in February 2010. Lately we've been seeing a ton of vampires pretty much everywhere and we know these hairy guys are trying to get their turn in the spotlight as well.
Benicia del Toro will be playing Lawrence Talbot, aka The Wolfman. The movie also stars Anthony Hopkins as his estranged father. I have to say I'm a little surprised at the decision to remake a concept that has been done so many times. While everything that I've seen so far looks really good, it's going to take something spectacular to set it apart from the other 'average' remakes.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it has what it takes to be a great movie?

Won't watch the trailer too much gets revealed even though its all familiar. The 1940 original Lon Chaney Wolfman B & W movie is a classic even by today's standards because it was a good story.
Hopefully this will do the original justice and I'm willing to see it. No need for a twist on this one, this actually COULD use an update with today's FX. I like the cast so why not?
I wanna see this. Benicio Del Toro is a good choice for the Wolfman. I wonder if the director of this film is gonna remaster other classic horror films like Dracula and Frankenstien, you know, like what Michael Bay is doing with Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

ok the only thing this movie is missing is me watching it and going A W E S O M E.
I believe this movie would do good because it's something that hasn't been shown in the silver screen for years. I want to see this. I saw the trailer when I went to watch Jennifer's Body. (Lame movie btw, I can't believe I actually agreed on watching it)

Did anybody know Gene Simmons fron KISS will do the wolfman's voice in fullform
Looks like it can be cool but when a trailer has as much indication of the plot as this trailer does then usually there's not much story to the movie.
Looks like they Hollywood is taking much care with this movie. Now why can't they be the same in making a decent "true to the comic" movie?
