What Did 'They' Do?
Guess we'll be finding out soon. Poor Magneto. He's always such a sad, bitter and angry guy. Seems it doesn't matter which universe he's in, things just don't go his way. Is he just fated to live this life or does he simply go out looking and asking for trouble?
As far as the previous Ultimatum teaser:
I still wonder, is the tomb symbolic since the Ultimate Universe began in 2000 or is it supposed to be for an actual character? I can't really think of any eight year olds running around the Ultimate Universe.
I'm not sure how I feel about another big event. Yeah it'll be contained to the Ultimate titles but honestly, I'm getting a little burnt out on them. Yes it's great to have these big epic stories but I miss the days when a story could actually be self-contained in a single issue. Now we have to have these huge stories written by a team of writers. I think what makes it worse is the inconsistency with the art. Different artists don't always draw the characters the same way or even in the same costumes. Hopefully there will be some good coordination with this. I know it's been in the planning stages for some time now.
My last question about this picture is who's hammer is that? If this is in the Ultimate Universe, Thor's hammer is different. Maybe Magneto just

Hummm... I have to agree about the Magneto thing and as for the other part it conserns me too. Now if they can cordinate everthing amongst the team such as one artist draw these three characters while another draws these three characters and another guy does back grounds (though all that could get messy) it could in aspect work. The big killer is wether or not they keep the story on all the same page with all the staff. Think about it. If an artist is told that it's a sad scene and he draws a bunch of clouds and sads stuff in the background and then all of a sudden some guy says "O no it's supposed to be a happy scene!" then we have problems. (note: That was just an example.)

The only thing that I've read in the Ultimate universe was The Ultimates. Although v1 & v2 are superb, v3 was pretty disappointing. I felt that Millar did a wonderful job, nearly to perfection with the Ultimates and Loeb "washed it all away" in only 5 issues.
This story looks interesting but thanks to Secret Invasion I don't trust Marvel anymore :(

In Ultimates 3 Thor opened up a closet which serves as a weapons cache which had a whole bunch of different weapons for him to choose from. I don't have a scan, but those are just two of many options he has to choose from.
The actual Ultimates we once knew were Ultrons Mechanic remodles (yes that includes thors hammer aswell)
Plus, the showdown with doom and magneto will be of epic proportions!
