Wasn't he introduced in the early issues of the '80's Giffen-DeMatties Justice League? Another one bited the dust...

...idiots...

I don't much care for Bagley.  His run on "Trinity" recently has disasterous.  Art was awful! Story was TERRIBLE!  I know the guy was putting out a comic every week, but still.  I tore them up and used the covers (drawn mostly by OTHER artists) as reference material.  But Robinson I am excited for.  Great writer!  JLA has suffered as of late.  So it will be good to get some quality writing back to the book.

In that first panel of page two, where that guy is yelling, "Air Ducts! Doors! The Room is Sealed!". It looks like someone is dissecting a Pokemon. lol

Seriously though, that creature does look familiar. It's been a few years, but aren't those the creatures that latch onto you and control your mind? They were in Superman's animal preserve. I think it was even in one of the animated Justice League episodes. It took Superman over by accident.

Whats wrong with calling a Blue Jay a Blue Jay?

It's a Jay, which is blue.

At any rate...Eh, not sure. I don't like the opening of a comic to be "HEY! THIS CHARACTER IS DEAD NOW HERES A BIG THREAT!" Kind of...Samey for everything at the moment. No Reason for Blue Jay to die. He wasn't THAT bad a character. I thought he was kind of fun.

There's nothing wrong with it. It was a joke :)

@The art looks good which is always a plus. I've never really been a fan of Despero though.

Who said Bluejay is dead?

I like him and he should be on either the JLA or JSA.
