We survived a week of moving from our old office to our new office.  This week we talked about Mark Millar directing movies along with the new Kick-Ass movie posters, Smallville and the Wonder Twins, nasty images in comic books, Ryan Reynolds in a towel and Aquaman riding a whale.

There wasn't any pie this week but we do answer the question, "Has a comic book ever made you cry?"  We also put the question out to you guys as to whether we should try a week of no superhero comic reviews.  Hopefully the weather will clear up today as we prepare for our barbecue as we celebrate our new office.

Thanks for answering my question guys.
Oh my God Babs, I remember that moment with Barbara and Starfire. I think she said something like "Dick honey I think the pizza is here."   Ugh:P

Great podcast guys, really funny and cool like always.

I don't know......That looks like a spray tan to me.

I don't know if I've ever cried to a comic. I do remember I was very moved by those final pages of The Death of Superman.

There is a manga series that has made me shed a few tears through my years of reading. One Piece. Many of those characters have very moving stories. It's really hard to pick just one moment.

There is the story of Nami. (I collapsed it in a Spoiler so it wouldn't take up space)

I approve of this podcast.

The idea of Red L.A.M.P. doing reviews would be awesome, I like that G-Man and Babs review dozens of comics every month, many of which are quite "unknown", but of you three, LAMP seems the most likely to enjoy a Vertigo comic or a Garth Ennis comic and therefore his reviews could possibly spotlight other comics I would really enjoy. It's always nice to get a new viewpoint into the mix. Hooray for diversity!

@Red L.A.M.P.: And I agree with your choice for comic book moment where I felt like I could cry, when Agent 355 was...(spoilers edited out)...wow...heart-breaking. That was one crazy finale...

By the way, does anyone else thinks it's weird her name is Agent "355" but they call her "three-fifty"?

can you explain why you don't like her? What did she ever do to you? I mean I'm not a fan but I don't hate her...
PS. There are some cool Brazilian superheroes and Starfire isn't one of them...

@Babs: Well do you at least like Beatriz da Costa

btw, you have quite a few accents, ever considered doing animation? you could always be Apu :P

@Babs: oh, alright I missed that the first time I heard it...it all makes sense now, Starfire sucks...I agree with aztek though, do you like Fire? She is Brazilian after all. And what about Mirage from Team Titans? I'm pretty sure she was Brazilian too...

Babs
on Nov. 11, 2009
@comicbufftoughstuff: Starfire is from Tamaran. I'm Brazilian. They were making fun of me because I don't like Starfire by saying she was Brazilian, it was a joke.

I have no sentiments regarding any of the characters you mentioned (i.e. Fire and Mirage).

@aztek the lost: Haha someone thinks he is a comedian! :P If my accents weren't absolutely AWFUL I might even consider moving to Hollywood and getting an agent. Thankfully, I am not good enough so I don't have to make people sick with my exceptional acting capabilities. ;)
