1:30 PM - Joe Cazinski, Shawn Bailey, and creator of Tron Stephan Lizberger are brought out. Stars of the film, Garrett Hallent, Olivia Wild, Michael Sheen, Bruce Boxlightner..., and Jeff Bridges come out.
1:32 PM Fully illuminated suits used in the film. Jeff Bridges plays Kevin Flynn and Flynn's avatar clue, who is still 35. Sean Bailey mentions Daft Punk will be working on the soundtrack.
1:35 PM Jeff Bridges talks about the challenge of acting as himself a couple decades ago, but how cool the technology was to make him look younger.
1:40 PM So far, most interesting part is the fact that Patton Oswalt is hilarious. They claim it's a 4D film becuase Jeff Bridges brings and extra dimension of "aweseomeness." Bruce Boxlightner is thrilled to revist the character, but he is very adept with dealing with these new filming technologies. He stated that the audience will be extremely pleased with the film.
1:45 Steven Lishberger thinks no matter how good the technology gets, it will never be good enough.... now time for a video... in 3D

1:55 PM 12.17.10 release date... Looked pretty cool. The costume design and set design are great, but from the 8 minutes we saw, the acting was ok, even though there was only a couple lines of dialogue

2:00 PM Sound engineers here to record the audience screaming.

2:00 PM Everyone is yelling Disk! Wars! over and over for the recording. Now we must be quiet because the teleprompter says so. Rinz Ler! is now being shouted by the masses. Here we go... about to shout Dee! Rez! (I'm not shouting though, just typing) Now everyone is about to stomp... Radical. Now there's a surprise of some sorts. The surprise is a picture of Tron Guy...

2:05 PM Question time follower by Tron trailer.... A person asks why Daft Punk was picked for the soundtrack.  "By the look of those guys, they seemed like the right fit." They've been working on the music for 3 years. Question 2: Explain the father and son relationship between Sam and Kevin. Jeff Bridges doesn't want to give anyone spoilers. "It's a faher and son relationship. I don't want to blow the dynamic of the relationship in the movie." Question 3: Did you expect the film to be so popular? "This is just like the movie we made." The creator's look at how the world has evolved. Bridges pipes in: We need modern myth. Connects it to plastic water bottles and how they aren't recyclable. One of the themes for the film is the dark side of technology.

2:10 Was Jeff psyched or not for the remake? Yes, it appealed to the kid in him. You get to work with cool guys and wear cool costumes and work with up-to-date technology. New question: Asked by twins... to Olivia Wild. Does she have an appreciation for guys that play video games?  "Absolutley, it's such a complex world... I just started playing them. Things have changed [since Duck Hunt]. I'm honored to be a part of this." Next Bridges question: Share creative process between then and now: He says his process hasn't changed much.

2:15 How did Tron 2.0 evolve into Tron Legacy? They felt there was the father son legacy within the film and a creative team legacy. Santa asks: Will they release the original Tron in 3D? There will be Tron in some exciting . formats in the future.

2:17 No more questions, time for the new Tron trailer. movies/yahoo.com/tron for the trailer we just saw. The trailer looked pretty good, again, the 3D technology did not rely on things flying at your face... it was more about depth.

2:25
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides announced... May 20th 2011.
Preview of Haunted Mansion... well, not really a preview, more of a title card. Directed by Guillemo Del Toro...

2:27 He just walked in! He loves the Haunted Mansion ride. "It told such stories that doesn't have to be done as a horror film." The film will be in 3D and live-action, although the title card made it seem animated. "We are not returning Eddie Murphy's calls. We are not making it a comedy. We are going to make it scary and fun, but the scary will be scary. This is really for hardcore fans." The hatbox ghost
     will be reintroduced.
