If you thought things couldn't get worse for Spider-Man, you haven't seen anything yet...

Poor Peter Parker. It seems every time he turns around someone is giving him another cause for concern. Earlier this week Marvel unveiled three teaser images that clued readers in on which of Spidey's biggest adversaries would be on his trail starting in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #682. The next big Spider-Man epic begins in Amazing Spider-Man #682, part one of Ends Of The Earth, by Dan Slott and Stefano Caselli! The Sinister Six, led by the vengeful Doctor Octopus, is back and they’re looking for revenge!

I hope this story arc lives up to these covers...

RoboSharkon Feb. 24, 2012 at 2:37 p.m.

I want this to be great. When they use the words "To the ends of the Earth." I get a mental image of Spidey and the six fighting on a cliff in Zimbabwe or something.

Man these covers are great, I just hope the actual story is gonna be just as good since, well, I know I don't have to remind anyone that often the cover has more hype than actual story.

These are some of the greatest Spider-Man covers ever. Also...New Spider-Man armor!

InnerVenom123on Feb. 24, 2012 at 3:35 p.m.

And people wonder why Spidey needs the heavily armored suit showed in the promos.

CATPANEXEon Feb. 24, 2012 at 3:40 p.m.

The covers are very nice. I'm also happy to see they're finally bringing this very long now sage involving Doc Ock and the Sinister Six to some kind of conclusion (they are doing that this time, right?). It's hooky, but every time I read that tagline " Take Peter Parker To The Ends Of The Earth ", I hear " Take You For A Ride " from Marvel Vs Capcom 2 in my head (the heck was with that?). Take me for a ride and to the ends of the Earth? No! You go! I'm staying home and watching Walking Dead.

Chameleon actually looks deadly!

sweetesttoasteron Feb. 24, 2012 at 4:49 p.m.

I think I'm going to start reading Amazing Spider-man now...

Johnnyjavaveeon Feb. 24, 2012 at 4:56 p.m.

Is this also going to be the end of dan slott's run on this book?

Cause I really really hope not. SO STOKED FOR CASELLI's SPIDEY ART FOR AN ENTIRE EVENT! YES!!!!

Dig Deeper into Spider-Man

Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, which he could have prevented, Peter learned that "with great power comes great responsibility". Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became the Amazing Spider-Man!
