Here's a another bit I meant to report the other day. EmpireOnline posted parts of an interview with Sam Raimi from their May issue. Raimi has always said he'd like to do another "Evil Dead" movie or perhaps have someone remake it. Apparently there has been some work on it. It seems that Bruce Campbell will return as Ash.
We've got nine pages so far. Every time I'm with my brother Ivan, we write another page of it. It's in Detroit and in my garage.
"There's some dialogue. Ash being an idiot. Ash taking some abuse. Some character stuff and then some structure of Act Two. Just other possibilities for things that could happen. It's ideas, jokes, things we'd like to see."
I also recall reading somewhere that Raimi wanted to make Bruce Campbell work out to and stay in shape. Doing another "Evil Dead" movie would force him to do so.
Do you think another "Evil Dead" movie would work? The last movie "Army Of Darkness" came out in 1992. (Trivia note, the movie originally was going to be called "Medieval Dead," get it?) That was seventeen years ago. Since Raimi will be working on "Spider-Man 4" and the script for "Evil Dead 4" hasn't even been completed, when would filming start? Either way, I'll be waiting for it as I have been all these years.

dude evil dead 4 sweet sounds way better then a remake cause remakes suck and Bruce campbell is GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is where Raimi belongs, these type of movies. Maybe I've been harsh on Raimi after Spidey #3, IDK. This sounds good but how soon would he even get to it?
If its done well which so far Sam has never let me down.. it will be fantastic! I love that he is taking his time doing the script.. but Bruce better buff up.. lol
An Evil Dead movie with modern graphics? Awesome! The old ones are humorously outdated.

Bruce can do it. i mean yea hes past his prime but have you seen him in Burn Notice. He still kicks ass. Ive been a Evil Dead fan forever. Ive seen the musical, sat it the splatter zone. I even have all the comics. This movie is way over do.
Next ED is the re-make, but don't go postal just yet, both Sam and Bruce are involved, though Sam won't be directing it
Bruce officially confirmed the project (or at least said it looks like they are doing it) last week on his website

My thoughts on this are simple....
Thank god the remake was scrapped, and thank god not but two week ago Raimi revealed he's writing ED4 with Bruce in mind to play Ash.... Justice does exist! No Ashton Kutcher ED!

Phew ED4 is on the way, I hate remakes, I would have watched the ED remake because I love the series, but glad Raimi is writing the new script around Campbell/Ash can't wait
Theres 2 endings to the Army of Darkness. I think that if they make a 4th movie then it'll follow on from the ending with the post-apocalyptic future.
Or they could always make a remake of the first movie.
