BATMAN #15 is next up on our list of great looking covers. We chose this particular cover by artist Greg Capullo not only because it looks great, but also because it takes the idea that the Joker is on Batman's mind pretty literally. Overall, it's a great image and we love how the current story arc is reflected in the picture.

It's hard not to point out how lovely the cover to BEFORE WATCHMEN: DR. MANHATTAN #3 is. It's a striking image that very distinctly reflects the message found within the pages of the current story. It's a great picture by artist Adam Hughes.

Artist Mike Deodato's variant cover to IRON MAN #4 is pretty compelling and very, very eerie, which is one reason why we absolutely had to point it out. It's a fantastic, creepy image that places the Iron Man helmet amongst a tower of skulls. The colors are great and the detail in the image is just superb.

One of the things that really drew us to the cover for IT GIRL AND THE ATOMICS #5 is just how creative it is. Artist Mike Allred blends the character into the trunk of a tree, fluidly weaving her in and out of the bark. It's "very Mike Allred" and very beautifully done.

Koray Kuranel's cover to POINT OF IMPACT #3 is an awesome close-up shot of the stories' central character. The fact that the picture is illustrated in only black ink makes this cover appear even more compelling. The attention to detail in the image is striking and well done.

Writer and cover artist Andy Kuhn delivers a great, and somewhat unconventional cover to TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #17. The colors, shadows and the image in the foreground are really striking, and not what we normally see on a cover of this particular series.

The cover to TO HELL YOU RIDE illustrated by Tom Mandrake is an incredibly fluid, very beautiful cover that captures all four warriors from the story in motion. The way Mandrake blends a variety of different elements and colors in one picture is really striking, yet with all that is going on in the background of the image, the viewer's eye is still drawn to the center of the picture.

The cover to THE WALKING DEAD #105 reminded us a little bit of DC's 'Death of the Family' covers, only with a bit more detail. We thought the image was great and that artist Charlie Adlard really captures the sheer terror in the plight of these characters. The real detail can be found in the center of the eye in this image, and it's a pretty powerful.

Last but definitely not least is the cover to WOLVERINE #317 featuring art from Adi Granov. The cover features a very somber Wolverine who appears almost vulnerable; not at all the way we are accustomed to seeing the character.
