The great thing about this comic book is that it takes place completely out of continuity. Usually, I am not crazy about comics set up in this manner, but I made the exception for this one. I loved it. Did you read it? Did you enjoy it?

I might pick this up. As for a loner Batman----THANK THE LORD SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME!!! I love Robin, Nightwing and the other but a best Batman story is a Batman story where he's working alone---in my opinion.
I'm a Poly Sci major I might pick it up just to see what you're talkin about

I like Dick Grayson, but I looked at him more of a batman backup sort of, not really a batman replacement. Like when Bruce has to go away on business Dick would monitor Gotham Like in the story arc Batman: Prodical. If they slowly fed Dick to us as Batman that way it could have been more acceptable. But to do it this way KNOWING that they will being Bruce back eventually force feeding us Damein and Dick as a disfunctional Duo doesn't seem natural. I don't "hate" Dick i actually like him, but I feel that they did not handle the battle for the cowl correctly. I really feel that they should have played off of the Prodical story line more then it would have made more sense and the fans would have been more accepting of it.

The idea of Dick being Batman again (Yeah, I'm counting Prodigal) is a really dull one. But Morrison, Dini and even Winnick are making the best of it, and I think this scenario will enhance their stories.
And bringing Bruce back too soon will ruin this.

i definetly love bruce as batman, i mean i like dick a lot...just not as batman.
i like batman as a loner a lot but i think he sometimes needs a robin or a batgirl because he's really dark and humorless (which is a good thing) but sometimes he needs someone to make the comics a little lighter and easier to read.
but a good dark, deep and batman alone book like this can be great from time to time. I really really want to pick this up because i'm not really enjoying the bruce death thing. And its great that i don't need any other comics to follow.

i like dick as batman... dont get me wrong i love bruce... i grew up with bruce being batman... but its not bad to make batman fresh... meaning having someone wear the cowl... it worked out for the flash... wally replacing barry... i think i would keep an open mind and see what would happen in a few more arcs... i also like bucky being cap... im sad that they would return steve... i got used to bucky...

Babs I love Bruce/Batman too! But I have to agree with ChromeFamily and ThE FL@$H, something like this had to happen sooner or later with Bruce even though most of us wasn't ready for it. I think I'm willing wait to see where this whole thing is going with Grayson.
In the meantime I think I'll stop by my neighborhood shop and pick up a BMC issue... I miss the Bat too!
