Marvel has revealed the covers to the four issue mini-series Avengers Vs. Atlas. The first issue is on sale on January 6, 2010. It will be written by Jeff Parker with pencils by Gabriel Hardman. As you can see, the covers will be by Humberto Ramos. The four covers make one nice big image:
I know there's some Agents of Atlas fans roaming around here. Looking at this image suggests this most likely isn't happening in the current continuity. When spacetime is being eroded, the Agents turn to the Avengers to help them. What ends up happening is they come across an earlier version of the team.
While I like the idea of the two teams coming together, I'm left wondering how "important" this mini-series will be. If the Agents are working with a past version of the Avengers, it doesn't seem like there would be any significant outcomes from this comic. That leaves me wondering how crucial it would be to pick up this series.
What do you think? Are the Agents of Atlas cool enough to make this mini-series worth getting? Jeff Parker is on board and has been guiding them for some time now. Are you digging the Humberto Ramos covers?

I really like Ramos' work.
I just keep wondering about what purpose the Agents of Atlas serves. All they ever seem to do lately is get into random pointless skirmishes with established teams. It was a little while ago they fought with the X-Men. Now the Avengers.

The Agents of Atlas against the Avengers is a complete mismatch.The Avengers probably have one member that could curbstomp the whole team.Plus Thor is supposed to be an Avenger in January...There's not doubt who will win without a plot device.
Their purpose is to ROCK.
Agents of Atlas is a great example of how you don't have to break a character to make a character. All these guys have got plucked from their various limbo points and remade into a decent and cool little team. Them against the X-Men and the Avengers is trying to drum up some publicity for their series, so we can finally have Jeff Parker writing it again!

I don't like the art.It was ok in Wolverine during Civil War.It's no good for Avengers\Agents.Giant Man,Cap & Thor look terrible.
I absolutely hate the artwork, why does everyone have Jay Leno chins? they're all grinning like stooges with 35 million identically sized, paper white teeth.

I think it's time for AoA to disappear. X-Men Vs. AoA is supremely Wack and they're infinitely more interesting than any combo of Avengers.

Looking at that picture you would not know that Venus is one of the most beautiful women on the planet ....

The real question is why are these Avengers dressed out of date? Thor hasn't worn that get up in awhile and that's Hero's Reborn Iron Man if I recall. And what's up with Jan, she coming back to life? Also when was the last time when Pym wore that outfit?
