We've addressed this a bit, but for the record, there's a lot of skepticism about all these Obama appearances in comics these days. But hands down, we feel this is the best out of all of them, because really, no one else gets to throw Ash, Obama, a comic book convention and hordes of Deadites into one four issue series mixed in with the realism of President Obama trying to help save the auto industry. So, for all the "posting haters" out there, we've heard them all (and even came up with a few of our own): Army of Darkness: Beating a Deadite Horse, Army of Darkness: Jumping the Deadite Shark, Army of Darkness: What, Again? - of wait, that's the sequel we've got brewing… and so on.
Army Of Darkness: Ash Saves Obama#1 (of 4) is due in August with a $3.50 cover price. There will also be a special Foil Edition available. Will Ash be able to save Obama? Will this be the end of the Obama appearances?

I really like President Obama... but this is getting sort of tiring... cant we have like a Final Comic made where Obama gives up the Whole Comic Book Character Superhero Thing ? We can have Spider-Man, Savage Dragon and Ash bidding him farewell at the end... as Obama leaves in a Black Secret Service Limo making his way to the White House and back to his real task at hand

Obama: the only fictional character with more fanboys than Superman.
These Obama comics are expressly made for goons who don't usually buy comics, but will buy multiples of these on the foolish assumption that they will be long term collectors items, which itself is based on one of two other foolish assumptions: that Obamania is anything but a fad, and that Presidential appearances in comic books are unprecedented or rare.

You know I get why he is in all these comics, Companies are trying to jump on the band wagon and market these as rare collectibles since he's the first Black President but for crying out loud it's not a collectible if he is in every damn book on the shelf! But I would like to acknowledge DC Comics for keeping him the hell out of their books.
What kinda bothers me is on every issue of wizard lately, They have an OBAMA VARIENT SPECIAL GOLD EDITION! DID WE MENTION OBAMA!!!!

It is getting old. But it is selling comics. At least it is not important things like health care and federal deficit. Now that is getting old.
