Fan favorite Anchor Bay Entertainment reaches out at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con, taking place July 24th through the 27th at the San Diego Convention Center!  Anchor Bay Entertainment will have a major presence at the SDCC – globally acknowledged as the world’s greatest and largest genre convention!

Fans will not only be able to meet and greet with their favorite Anchor Bay Entertainment stars, but also get such exclusive, behind-the-scenes scoops as:

    * Watch the world premiere of the teaser trailer for Robert Hall’s newest thriller Laid To Rest featuring “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” stars Lena Headey and Thomas Dekker;
    * A behind-the-scenes look at the next great horror cult classic – Jack Brooks Monster Slayer with star/producer Trevor Matthews, director Jon Knautz and “Freddy Krueger” himself – star Robert Englund!
    * Writer/Director Dan Waters (Heathers, Sex and Death 101) and Oscar-nominee Josh Olson (A History of Violence) talk about their upcoming Anchor Bay projects, including Masters of Science Fiction and the Heathers Blu-ray release;

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM   Dead Space IP Panel (Room 2)

In conjunction with Electronic Arts, Anchor Bay/Film Roman will be participating in EA’s The Dead Space IP panel.  Representing the Dead Space: Downfall animated feature Chuck Patton [director], AJ Jothikumar [lead character design] and Jimmy Palmiotti [writer] will join Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night) and Antony Johnston (Wasteland) to preview the latest fusion between graphic novels, video gaming and linear storytelling.
