Spinning out of last arc story "Murder at the mansion" Morrison explores a brooding and inconsolable Scott Summers hiding out in the Hellfire Club, trying to forget his sorrows, fears and doubts in the bottom of a glass of sparkling wine? Thanks to all of the X genes Logan shows up to man up his buddie and teach him how to drink the mighty whiskey!! This is definitely one of the best issues ever of X-Men, because it's about two arch rivals sitting down and drinking, with excellent dialogues and the unique art of Chris Bachalo - Chris is one of these artists "love or hate" kind of deal - it's a shifting feeling, since he'd been one of my favorites in the past, but now I don't consider him as top notch as when he did "Ghost Rider 2099", "Generation X" or even his early work in the X-Men, but he did a decent job in this issue - the bad thing about this story is definitely Sabretooth appearence, clearly a filler in the story, I believe Morrison could've inserted more dialogues between Logan and Slim, instead of recurring to such an appelative tool as Creed, showing some lazyness of the scotish writer - this issue also is the kick start for one of the best concepts created by Morrison (now being used in the Uncanny X-Force title), which is the World - this was a fun issue and I recommend it!
