If this issue really acomplishes anything, it is the total exclusion of any new reader. Definitely a book for those who have been reading the book for sometime now and has a clear understanding of all the players.  Not so good when you are a chapter of a huge story like this. This would be a great opprotunity to make the title acssessable, and gain readers who otherwise would not have picked up the book.
