I'm a Marvel fan who is now trying to gain a little understanding of the DCU. The New Gods, I find them interesting, but I don't understand how Granny Goodness (whom is among their numbers) is old when New Gods do not age past their prime. HUH?
New Gods
Team » New Gods appears in 728 issues.
Created by Jack Kirby, The New Gods are ruled by the wise and benevolent High Father on the planet of New Genesis, while minions exist only to serve the dictator Darkseid on the twin planet of Apokolips.
NEW GODS ARE IMMORTAL!!! THEN WHY IS GRANNY GOODNESS OLD!?!
It's part of her character she has still been alive for eons and still able to torture the best and toughest of them
Immortality means you don't die. It doesn't mean you don't age.
At least I think that's how it works...>_>
I'm more curious as to how some immortals age from adolescence to their 20-30's and just stop aging all together
" I'm more curious as to how some immortals age from adolescence to their 20-30's and just stop aging all together "Or why some (Zeus, Highfather) decide to stop aging at around 60.
It's like there's some switch that says "I want to stop aging..... here."
So then "physically" should mean as appearance and not just capabilities
