Continues with issue #12 in New Adventure Comics.
With New Fun already on the stands, Wheeler Nicholson didn't waste any time in adding a second title to his line. New Comics appeared in a smaller format than New Fun, one that was similar in size to what are now considered standard size comic book dimensions. Featuring covers by Vin Sullivan, New Comics' varied features included the humor offerings of "Sir Loin of beef" and "Jibby Jones" alongside the adventurous "Gulliver's Travels" and "17-20 on black." While this title was in fact destined for success (after evolving into Adventure Comics in 1938 it remained in publication until 1983), it was nevertheless a poor time for Wheeler Nicholson to overextend himself.
