New Avengers #30

After a massive breakout at the Raft super-villain prison, Earth's Mightiest Heroes united again to catch the inmates who escaped, some leave, some stay and some are new recruits and ultimately became the New Avengers. Now they are stronger, more fierce and frankly altogether AWESOME!

POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Is anyone else confused. I've read this one twice, and something's just not clicking on the last few pages. I get that Clint Barton is Ronin here (I think), but what game is he playing?

It looked to me like he (Ronin) was the one who threw the sword to Maya as she was getting up. I got suspicious when I saw the look on his face during Strange's "purity" spell. Is he a plant to take Strange out? Did Strange already know about it? How many chest wounds can Dr. Strange put up with in such a short time?

I don't know. I'm just glad he's back. I love Bendis and do think there's something up his sleeve. We all pretty much figured it'd be him as Ronin so I'm thinking there's more to it. This cracks me up:

But again, I do love Bendis.

I'd have to re-read it. I do recall a weird look on Ronin's "face" just when things went down. He did seem eager to go. I hope that's not the case.
