Plot Summary

In the wake of SECRET INVASION, Mockingbird is alive and has returned to Earth after being held captive by the Skrulls. Ronin, her estranged husband, volunteers to help her adjust to her new life as a member of the new Avengers, but some old wounds run too deep. And what deadly secret did she bring back with her that could tear them, and the world, apart once more? It's high-octane action and intrigue as the Mr. & Mrs. Smith of the Marvel Universe take on one of the biggest threats in the world...and each other!

SPIOLERS....

Mockingbird and Ronin are now part of the Avengers but Bobbi seems to want to work solo. After Secret Invasion Mockingbird left the skrull ship with many unattended trauma. Bobbi is on stelth mode searching a hospital and Clint is right behind her. She makes it clear that she doesn't want ex-Hawkeye to be there and he proves to her she needs him. In the hospital they find that it is actually a secret facility filled with A.I.M.

Before going after her he has a heated disscusion with bucky, the new Captain America, on what are the true intentions of having Mockingbird on the team. Clint  storms off without before telling Bucky he is very much like the old Cap.

Mockingbird tells Ronin that she is trying to prevent another event such as the Secret Invasion, and Ronin makes it clear that she can't do it alone. In a warehouse where Bobbi secretly held an armory Clint uses a net and traps her, then he calls for the new Avengers telling then he "has her".

     ** Some Spoilers **

New Avengers: The Reunion #1 returns Mockingbird to action in the Marvel Universe.  In Dark Reign: New Nation Bobbi tells Clint she needs some space, in this issue we start to see what she's doing.  Clint, not being one to let things go, tracks her down, with the help of Captain America.  After battling A.I.M. Agents at a Hospital, Clint finally badgers the purpose of what Mockingbird is doing out of her.  Mockingbird's mission is to find those connected to the 'Secret Invasion' that may still be on Earth.  Bobbi plans to stop them alone, but Clint has other plans.  I liked the issue well enough, the art was okay, but it seemed that it relied heavily on the coloring to provide depth and shade, but maybe they planned it that way. Overall I liked it and want to read issue #2.

Here's the thing I never knew Mockingbird existed untli Secret Invasion.
Automatically I loved her character and the relationship she shares with Clint.... but the problem with this issue is one single thing. Bobbi is in her stelth mode trying to save the world on her own, on the second page she is seen searching a locker with a mirror inside, her reflection is not her own, the question that it arrises is.... Is that a skrull (because on the reflection it is) or are they trying to show you that she has picked up a thing or two from the skrulls?

I wasn't very fond of the art but the cover art was beautiful!!! I loved it a lot!

I want to know what happens later on so this issue is a must-read in my opinion because yes we know now Mockingbird is not dead but that rises more questions yet.....
