Search For the Sorcerer Supreme
After Dr. Strange lost his title as the Sorcerer Supreme the is a Chase to see who will succeed him and his title has begun. The story follows up on Dr. Strange after he loses his title of the Sorcerer Supreme. It starts off with The Hood confronting his Demon (literally) who orders him to find the Eye of Agamatto. Meanwhile Dr. Strange finds Wiccan and opts to teach him in the Mystic Arts so that he will be his successor. The Hood locates them and after a brief battle Dr. Strange is defeated and lands in the Avengers hideout. He then asks them for their help to ensure that The Hood doesn't get take the Eye from him. The Eye then begins to chose its own successor which is anyone who it deems worthy, good or evil. The chase thus begins as Dr. Strange and the New Avengers begin to locate the Eye and the rightful successor to it.
The Good:
The Story Arc does a good job at keeping you guessing who will the Eye if Agamotto will actually choose to be the next sorcerer supreme. You will see some unexpected characters pop up to have a chance. The story also does a good job of giving us a background to the Demon that has been controlling The Hood from behind the Scenes the Entire time (Just wait to you see who it is).
The Bad:
My only complaint about the arc is how short it was. I just felt like there could of been more story in it and it could of brought in more villains like Dr. Doom perhaps.
The Verdict:
A solid storyline with a good writer and Decent art. I would recommend it for anyone who reads The New Avengers and to anyone who wants a quick read.
