Maya Lopez is in trouble in Japan and has sent a message to Matt Murdock. The New Avengers head to Tokyo to rescue Maya Lopez and end up fighting Elektra and The Hand. Former Avenger Hawkeye aka Clint Barton was killed by the former Avenger Scarlet Witch twice, yet he's somehow alive and he doesn't really care to explain it. He finds his way to Dr. Strange's doorstep and learns that his life is real. He leaves searching for the Scarlet Witch seeking some type of closure.
