Time To Clean House (or at least the Avengers Mansion) 0

The New Avengers barely survived their magical battle. It's time to clean up and figure out who the heck is going to be on the team.  The Good There isn't a lot of action in this issue but it's always nice to be able to take a breather and allow the characters to reassess everything. The New Avengers not only have a mansion that needs to be rebuilt, they also have to look at their own team. We've already seen Hawkeye leave the team (since he was also on the regular Avengers team).  We also find ...

Cover The cover is kind of sketchy. Story Luke tries to get the mansion repaired but, does not want help from Cap but, it seems like he is going to need the money from him after all. Doctor Strange wakes up from a 15 hour nap and everyone on the team want him to be an Avenger and at first does not accept but, than says he will do it. It is not entirely satisfying in that regard, but it is still a strong and entertaining issue. ...

I decided to get back into the Avengers, and I was making a decision on which Avengers series I should follow. I decided to go with the New Avengers because I enjoyed most of their adventures during the time when Tony Stark was head of SHEILD and when Osborn took charge. Pros: It was quite easy to get into in this issue. After what happened in the last few issues, it was interesting to see The New Avengers get a bit of R&R. What I love about Bendis is that he can add humor almost anywhe...

A Second Rate Group of Avengers? 0

As the New Avengers dust off the last crisis debries and sit down for a "grown ups talk", I got myself wondering of the resemble of this issue with # 1 and got myself really scared to figure out that this book is only good with situations like these two issues presented: the team gathering, without action, just talking and interacting!! But this isn´t what a super hero comic is about! And I say "who cares, since it´s awesome!". This is the best issue of New Avengers (vol 2010) so far, for the go...
