The man without Fear
New Avengers, ever since Deodato came aboard the title, has become a very dynamic and interesting series, especially in the Fear Itself event, way better than the Secret Avengers title, that's because Bendis managed to imput a lot of action embedded with his excellent dialogues of daily basics issues, like the now classic New Avengers' reunion around the table, eating breakfast, lunch, supper or just a snack, and Cage & Jessica's problems in finding a good babysitter for Angelica - this issue, in particular, was super special not only because it's about one of my favorite heroes - yes, talking about DD - but because Bendis continued to use his narrative formula of showing small squares per page of a hero giving his statement about some subject, a great narrative tecnique that's working very well in his both titles (Avengers and New Avengers) - this kind of structure highlights Deodato's skills in shaping a very paced story, intercalating calm moments with speedy/action packed ones, it's the crystal clear example that a balanced story really pays off in the end, with lots of action scenes - also this brings out the board of Marvel's future showed in Avengers # 5 (Man without fear and Who's worthy?), so definitely this issue is historical 'cause it's Daredevil rehabilitation as the major hero that he has always been and what better proof of that to an invitation to join the Avengers? (even if it's Cage's team)
